The hunting season starts with roebuck hunting in mid-April and continues through until the wild duck shooting season starts in mid-August. September brings us one of nature’s greatest spectacles, the red deer rut, before we enter the main hunting season on 1 October with the opportunity to shoot pheasant, wild duck, wild boar, mouflon and fallow deer.
Although individual wild boar and mouflon hunts may be arranged throughout the year, the thrill and adventure of a driven wild boar hunt during the autumn and winter months really is an opportunity to savour.
